# Action needed: Update WP Rocket before WordPress 7.1

A quick heads-up for anyone using WP Rocket: before updating to WordPress 7.1, make sure WP Rocket is updated to **version 3.23.2.2 or newer**.

WP Rocket confirmed that older versions can conflict with changes in WordPress 7.1 in certain configurations, potentially making both the frontend and wp-admin inaccessible.

So the safe update order is simple: **WP Rocket first, WordPress 7.1 second.**

Worth checking before hitting that update button.
