It’s a bit like the ape AI videos all over tik-tok at the moment - of course they look amazing, but who are we then selling this to? A bunch of adolescent teenagers who think cats in suits and apes walking around talking looks funny?

Ah, that might be it, I’m not on TikTok and I don’t really know what’s popular / possible for most people right now.

I think it might be good marketing to have one of these videos on your site. Not in the sense that cats are funny but more like saying “We are cutting-edge, we know how to do advanced animation, go with us, not with the [other] outdated guys”. I might do an A/B test to see results.

I agree AI is awesome, the only thing that I don’t agree with is that now everybody can be anything without proper training…

Anyway, I agree with you that they’re currently tools for people to use - not autonomous replacements. I do think the world is changing very quickly though and we’re just in the very first inning of this.

The world has been changing for a long time, but as a business owner, we still need to follow tried and tested principles - I love learning new things just like anyone else, but sometimes the old addage is “if it isn’t broke then don’t try to fix it” seems good or “don’t try and re-invent the wheel”.

There are some things worth changing, but not just for changing sake. Point in fact Windows software LOL.

Exactly, AI is incredible, but it doesn’t replace (yet?) experience or fundamentals. Tools evolve, but the basics of running a business, building real value, and delivering quality stay the same. I try to not undervalue AI and see it more as an accelerator for success, as it helps skilled people do more, faster.

It will always be skillset, great people, working minds that win out in the long run. YES I’m sure some smarta$s will make money selling AI - and sometimes as a business person myself I think why didn’t I come up with that idea? I tell you why - because I do not rip people off. I need to be able to sleep at night knowing that my customers were not screwed over. Does that make sense?

Unfortunately, business has no feelings. It operates without compassion, where profit often comes before people. As for sleeping at night—just imagine the mind of a dictator like Putin. Power without conscience is a heavy burden, though some pretend it isn’t.

But I’ve learned something important: it is always better to live as an honest and good man. Integrity may not always be rewarded here, but it lets you rest with a clean heart and clear mind.

On the other side, however, things are different. I’ve seen it—twice. I don’t expect anyone to believe me, but I can tell you this with certainty: there is justice beyond this life. It’s a justice you cannot escape, cannot bribe, and cannot twist to your advantage. Those who think they are untouchable here are in for a reckoning there.

And yet, there is also mercy. On the other side, all must be forgiven, even as truth and justice prevail. That’s all I will say.
