Yes, me too. I’ve had an 80 %+ drop in sales and visits. Envato seem to be focusing on creating stock footage with AI—what’s wrong with the CEO, beats me. Every time I think about this, I just can’t get it.

I’m experiencing save issues here. Terrible sales on August and even worst on September. 80% less sales comparing on a couple of years ago.

I set up this tool a while ago because the other tools or extensions I was using all stopped working.
Envato, of course, refused to mention it in an announcement or to put up any kind of link to promote it when I suggested it to them.
I forgot to mention: of course, my sales have dropped dramatically, like everyone else’s.

Envato has the best freelancers in the world, and yet they switched their model in creating generative AI, WTF is wrong with the CEO…

Yes, we have bad luck — the economy is terrible right now, we’re in a deep recession, and AI seems to want to take over everything.
I saw today that they’re planning to build some kind of apps, and eventually everything will run through the OPAIA structure — no more browsers. They literally want to control absolutely everything they can… and there are no regulations or rules in place.
About Envato it is now advertising generative AI — what the fk is wrong with the CEO, Hichame Assi, if that’s his thinking? He’s so far from understanding the Envato platform that he’s turned it into a gimmick with generative AI and 10 million stock footage items — as if it matters whether there are 1 million or 100 billion, it’s the same st.
In my case, the reason why sales are “not high” any more, is because the sales from USA are gone. Usually, USA sales were 60% of total sales, now they are maybe 20% of total sales. I see this on my part, not sure how are your demographics.

Yes, USA is the biggest client… From what I saw, there is a big job crisis in USA not just tech, pretty much everything.
For me, these are my top 10 countries in the last 30 days (Paddle dashboard):
And all-time chart (last 2-3 years):
So not much difference, only country that’s different is India (I do notice more and more customers from here, I think their country is rising).
