Hey everyone,
Just a quick update, I’ve added a new “Report this product” option on product pages across WPBay.
This gives customers and visitors a simple way to flag products that may need attention, including things like:

broken or stale products that no longer work as expected

malware or suspicious code
-
scam or misleading listings
-
copyright / trademark infringement
-
other serious marketplace policy issues
The goal here is simple: keep WPBay healthy, trustworthy and clean.
As the marketplace grows, I want to make sure genuinely problematic products don’t quietly sit around unnoticed. Sometimes sellers disappear, products stop being maintained, or something slips through review. This gives the community a direct way to help surface those cases.
One important note for sellers: please don’t panic if you get a report.
A report is just a signal for review - not a verdict.
One or two reports on a product don’t automatically mean anything. Anyone who has sold digital products long enough knows that sometimes frustrated customers report things emotionally, especially when expectations don’t match reality (for example, requesting installation/customization work that isn’t included in support).
Every report will be reviewed manually and with context.
This system is meant to help catch real issues, not punish honest sellers.
