Categories for PrestaShop modules

I wanted to add a module to PrestaShop, but there is no category to put it in. Additionally, during validation, I get the error “We couldn’t recognize your file as a valid plugin or theme. Please make sure it follows the WordPress structure. If this is an error, please contact us at support@wpbay.com.”

Are you planning to add a category for Presta?

I suggest you submit your product in the ‘Script’ type (not ‘Plugin’) and select ‘Prestashop Plugin’ in the category.

Thank you! I will be adding new modules regularly, I have quite a few :slight_smile:

  1. How do I upload a new version of an added module, e.g. I released an update to 1.0.1 from 1.0.0. Do I just upload the module in the “Installable File (ZIP)*” field?

  2. I can’t find where I can change the profile picture (unless it’s cached and will update soon - because I uploaded an avatar in my profile).

  1. Yes, you need to go to your Seller Dashboard → My Products menu → click Edit for your product → upload the zip in the Installable File (ZIP)*
    You can also add a comment for the update and click Save Changes.
  2. Yes, the site is cached, on my side, your profile picture is updated now.
