From Envato to WPBAY, I am WebdesignerArt :)

Hi everyone,

Today, I visited the Envato forum after a while to discuss my SaaS product and seek better users, and was surprised to learn that the forum is going to be closed soon. Its a sad news to be honest. Envato forum helped me to grow my development skills by learning from seniors. Its been 14yrs in I am the author of themeforest. But what can we do First Envato Studio and Today Forum.

I am glad wpbay comes front to me in forum and immediatly signup. I wish it will serve the best better and for more collaboration. I don’t know who’s behind wpbay, I would love share my ideas and would love to promote on my social circle.

So coming back to the point the. The forum main purpose is to help eachother. And today I am seeking Developers/Agencies who can test my upcoming wordpress plugin and platform.

I did lot of beta testing in envato in my early career stage, and i wish some will do the same.

I am excited for WPBAY venture.

So what I built…a platform to manage 100’s of WordPress sites effortlessly.

If you manage single to multiple WP sites, I’m inviting beta testers. I just want feedback before public launch.

P.S: If its sound self promotion, please understand this is for WordPress community from an old developer :slight_smile:

WebdesignerArt, great to see you here, and thanks for the kind words about WPBay! I’m one of the cofounders (search CodeRevolution on CodeCanyon), along with KingsPlugins (search WebWizardsDev on CodeCanyon). It means a lot to hear from long-time Envato authors who see the value in keeping a real community alive. Also, yes, it is really sad to see what is happening to Envato, I learnt also a lot on Envato Forums, I am sad to see it go just like this…

Your platform sounds promising, managing large numbers of WordPress sites is a pain point for many. The whole point of what we’re doing is to make sure collaborations like this still have a place to happen, without the fear that the plugin will be pulled tomorrow off the marketplace or there will be major changes to the marketplace, which will neglect the interest of developers selling around here.

Also, a word to anyone reading this, go ahead and DM WebdesignerArt and join his beta testing program, I am sure you will be able to test some awesome plugins and maybe even themes he is working on in this period!

I genuinely like your idea of a platform to manage 100s of sites - very interesting and most of us who are into web or WP development have probably run into that situation where you just have so many sites you lose track of them.

Will be curious to learn more,

Next week i’ll release a feature you just need to connect your website and all maintenance and backup will be automatic. I ll keep you posted guys.

What is one mans loss is another mans gain.

The closure of the Envato Forums can create an opportunity for WPBay to benefit or achieve something positive. By the founders of WPBay creating this forum for example, you found a new home to come to.
