I hve tried today to upload a script a few times and it dose nto work I get the error that is not recognized as a plugin.

I tried this multiple times, submitting scripts directly and also saving them as draft first, but on my part, submitting worked.
Please create a short screen recording of what is happening on your part and share it on Discord. Also, send me the files you are uploading, so I can test them also on my part.
I have just run an automatic and also a manual code check and I did not find any paths where this could happen for scrips, so I assume this is one of the weird issues.
I find it really weird that it is not happening on my side.

I did some changes, please check again, let me know if it works.
I tried, I have the same issue, I select script when adding an item but it treats it like it is a WordPress plugin.
We will solve this, one way or another. 
I suggest we continue debugging this on Discord.
