I am working on a new slider, I thought to share the issue that I have here on WPbay, I have a small bug explained below…
After clicking on a mesh and maximizing and dragging quickly again, there is a small jump on the x position, not sure how to fix i,t and ChatGPT does not help much with this. Click on the meh that are not in the center to replace them.
Here is the live example with textures and stuff Linear Slider
I also updated the code in Glitch with a simplified version without textures and other stuff…Glitch :・゚✧
I can share the full code, is a cool project you can use it on your own if you like…

Do you mean that if I maximize the slider and drag it to the right, it jumps to the next slider items, while if I maximize it and drag it to the left, it stays in the same position? Is this the issue you are mentioning?
I recorded the entire thing so… I will share the result soon..
About yoruwustion no, that is not it, When you click on an item gets maximized, but if you drag quickly, there is a slight jump is not fluid…
I tried as well but I can’t seem to reproduce it - it would help if you can record a loom
You guys don’t have the eye of a former Adobe Flash developer LOL
is there trust me… I am working on it , I will come back soon with some clarifications!
You made me curious and I looked more into it but I really can’t get any issue.
Maybe it’s one of those glitches that you can only see depending on the browser, OS, screen size etc
Trust me is there, but it does not matter because I write the code…
I will get back on this asap.
I also cannot seem to reproduce this. Maybe can you make a short video showing it, probably we miss something very subtle.
I am working on it The code on the live setting is an old version…
Ok, let us know if we can help.
I ended up to pay for this first time in 25 years ,so far 7 developers failed, all said that they can do it … after a few days defeat…
i will come with details as soon as it is done… I am tired of this …

Developers are dropping like flyes on this, all think they can do it and in afew days they give up…I listed this as a job for 300$ is not difficult for someone who is good with math…
Here is the video I am curious if at least you can see the issue…
In that video I do not see any very obvious snap/jump, but I do see a general lack of fluidity - I think it might just be a limitation of the recording though.
When I go to those links it appears nice and fluid on my macbook pro Aristide Benoist — Independent developer - 13 May 2025 | Loom
I definitely understand that feeling when something’s bugging you, but in terms of software I feel it’s such a minor issue that you can safely move on lol
I think I saw the jump, but I am not sure if I saw what I supposed to see, or just a normal jump.
So, you mean that after you click on the mountain picture, when you zoom out, the image should focus the mountain picture and instead it is focusing the coffee/rabbit? And if you zoom out again, it is focusing nearer the original image? Is this it?
Yes something like that, so far it seams that the issue is difficult to spot by an untrained eye…

I did it, it took me a month.
I add it as a payed job and about 12 devs failed on it… in the end with a bit of help and luck I did it, is not finished but that darn bug is fixed now…
Congrats! What was the issue, was it in the math part of the code?
Yes, math… with a creative project like this is all about math…
