I’ve added two new discovery features to WPBay: curated Collections and side-by-side plugin comparison.
Please don’t freak out if you see a Collection on your product
You may start noticing a new Collections section on some WPBay product pages. For example, you can already see it on Organic Slider WordPress and WooCommerce Plugin.
Nothing strange has happened to your product. It has not been edited, moved to another category, recategorized or automatically enrolled in a promotion. It simply means that I selected it for a relevant WPBay collection.
Categories describe what a product is. Collections are meant to help buyers find products according to what they want to accomplish. Examples include AI for WordPress, Speed Optimization, Elementor Tools, Agency Toolkit, Content Automation, Social Media Automation and Sliders, Carousels & Galleries, etc, more collections will come as WPBay grows.
Collections are created and maintained manually by WPBay. Sellers cannot create collections or add their own products to them because that would quickly lead to duplicate collections, irrelevant placements and promotional spam. A product may appear in more than one collection when it solves different problems.
Collection placement is not paid and it is not a guarantee that WPBay considers one product objectively better than every alternative. Featured positions are editorial and may consider relevance, product quality, usefulness, update history, buyer activity and coverage of different use cases.
The purpose is simple: give relevant products another path to be discovered. Collection pages also create useful internal links between products that buyers might otherwise never find.
I am still reviewing the catalog and building these pages gradually. Some products may be added, removed or moved as collections improve. If you believe your product was placed incorrectly or that it clearly belongs in an existing collection, please let me know. Suggestions are welcome!

Compare Organic Slider with other WordPress plugins
Buyers can add up to four plugins and compare their features, pricing, ratings, sales, update information and compatibility in one table. The goal is to make purchasing decisions easier without forcing people to open ten product tabs and remember which plugin offered what.
The comparison uses information already available on WPBay product pages. This makes accurate product data even more important. Sellers should keep their descriptions, features, pricing, current version, last update and WordPress or WooCommerce compatibility information up to date.
The comparison works separately for plugins, themes, scripts and services.
These features are new, so I expect to keep refining them based on how buyers and sellers actually use them. If you notice incorrect information, a strange product match or something that could be clearer, please tell me.
Both features are crawlable and indexable, so they should boost also SEO.
