Oval Carousel - next gen 3D carousel

This is my latest product. I’m planning to turn it into a full course that teaches how to build a product like this from start to finish. Creating a commercial product is not easy—every detail must be carefully planned, implemented, and finished, and the final result must go through a rigorous review process.

The course will include both a JavaScript version and a WordPress/WooCommerce version. I plan to start from zero knowledge and go all the way to the final product, including building the WordPress backend and frontend completely from scratch.

I’m doing this for my daughter. She is 14 and wants to learn how to code. Most tutorials out there are commercial, with the main goal of making money. My goal is different: this course is designed with learning in mind, specifically for her, and of course, it will be free.

I’ll probably start this in the spring. I’m not sure exactly how it will go, but I’ll do my best :slightly_smiling_face:

I forgot to mention that this plugin will be exclusive to WPBAY, so it should bring some customers as well. Once I launch the course, I will also make a section about how to create an account and become a seller on WPBAY, how to upload products ,etc…

Yes, I also try to bring traffic from wordpress.org plugin listings. Currently I am learning how to do this, will do some tutorials on this also.

If you figure it out, please share your thoughts. I have three plugins approved on WordPress.org and one in the review process. I plan to add most of my plugins; so far, it brought a few new clients, which is not bad for a start.

The review process makes no sense, for example, in my plugins I have a CSS editor, my previous plugin was rejected because of this, now the last one was approved with the same feature, it depends who is reviewing it I guess, but I don’t think is possible to get it approved from the first try

One more thing looking back I think Envato hold us back, we got confortable there but is not the right way to do things I learned it the hard way

Indeed, we got soft there, also, their rules made us play their game, not “the game”…
