I was annoyed by how Envato labeled us as ā€œauthorsā€ā€¦ like we would write e-books or sell imagesā€¦

Donā€™t get me wrong, this is not hubris, only I want to give and get given the right label, especially as this takes a major role also in customer psychology.

When WPBay was created, the best I could come up with was ā€œSellersā€. But it is not yet late to change it, if you guys think that this would be needed.

If you sell here, let me know how would you like to be called on WPBay?

Seller could be problem if someone is choosing no for DSA EU law.

Good pointā€¦ i get what you meanā€¦ so people choose ā€˜i am not a traderā€™, but they are labeled as sellersā€¦ yes, this might be an issue. However, if i am right, etsy and ebay both use seller and have to do the same eu dsa law stuff with trader status.

Anyway, lets think of this more, we have time. :slight_smile:
