It’s that time of the year when the Black Friday / Cyber Sale, when the internet goes a little wild, and we get to give something back to the people who keep us going. WPBay’s first ever Black Friday Sale is coming this November, and we’re doing it our way: simple, honest, and all about helping creators get their work seen (and bought).
From November 19th to December 2nd, we’ll be running our biggest sale of the year, with 50% off selected WordPress plugins and themes across WPBay. No gimmicks. Just real discounts on tools that make websites better.
What makes this different
Just to be clear, we’re not trying to be another “mega-deal” site. WPBay was built by independent developers, for independent developers, so this campaign is more about visibility and community than big numbers.
You can nominate your plugins or themes to join the Cyber Sale. We’ll feature ALL nominated items on a dedicated campaign page that gets promoted across WPBay, email, and a few partner channels. Nothing too flashy, just enough to help your work reach more people who’ll actually use it.
Key Dates
- Nominations open: October 16
- Nominations close: October 31
- Sale starts: November 19
- Sale ends: December 2
You can adjust prices as you wish, but if you take part of the promo, during the promo period, you will not be able to change prices.
How to get noticed?
Be sure to have plugins and themes which are:
- Well-maintained and up-to-date
- Presented clearly (good demo, good docs)
- Made with care, that part matters most!
No minimum sales or ratings required. If your product solves a real problem and you’ve put heart into it, that’s enough reason to nominate it!
The Discount
Nominated items will be discounted by 50% off their normal price. Once selected, we’ll handle the timing of the price changes automatically, they’ll go live when the campaign starts and revert when it ends.
If for any reason you change your mind before the sale begins, you can opt out. No hard feelings, just let us know in time.
