💬 What Are You Working On? Let’s Talk Projects!

Hey WPBay crew :waving_hand:,

Now that we’ve got some amazing folks joining the platform, I thought it’d be awesome to open up a thread in General Discussion to chat about what we’re all working on.

Whether it’s a plugin you’re building, a theme you’re designing, a side project, or even a cool idea brewing in your brain — let’s talk about it!

Drop a comment below with:

  • :hammer_and_wrench: What are you currently working on?
  • :brain: Any cool features you’re experimenting with?
  • :construction: Any roadblocks or stuff you’re stuck on?
  • :handshake: Looking to collaborate with someone?

We’re a dev-first marketplace, and this space is all about sharing, learning, and growing together. You never know who might jump in to offer advice, feedback, or a fresh perspective.

I’ll start: Currently tweaking a new feature for WPBay sellers that helps automate custom discount campaigns — think “mini Black Fridays” :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Also working on some community features for the forum.

Can’t wait to hear what you’re building!

Hi,

Congratulations for this great project, and long live WPBay and the many developers who will be joining soon.

I’m a developer myself and would have joined you this morning if I could, but unfortunately I don’t work with Wordpress (see my work here: https://www.miglisoft.com).

Are you planning to integrate other tools into WPBay in the future, for example those developed in PHP or Javascript?

Hello and welcome to WPBay forums!

Thanks so much for the kind words and enthusiasm about WPBay! It’s awesome to hear from a fellow developer, and I really appreciate you sharing your work, looks like you created some advanced PHP stuff there, congrats for them!

As for your question, right now WPBay is pretty focused on the WordPress ecosystem, specifically plugins and themes, since that’s where we see the most immediate impact and community engagement. That said, I am always open to building WPBay based on what developers like you need and want. If there’s enough interest from the community to expand into other tools, whether that’s PHP, JavaScript, or beyond, I’d absolutely consider it. My idea is all about supporting developers and making their lives easier, so if the demand is there, WPBay will grow in that direction.

How is your experience on CodeCanyon, did sales drop for you also this year? For me, 2024 was much worse than 2023.

Cheers,
Szabi - WPBay/CodeRevolution

Welcome to the forum,

Cool site! Maybe you should try to do a WP plugin for your next project!

Each year is worse than the previous, for me as for everyone. If you think I might help you in any way to grow your project feel free to email me from my website (or chat from PHP CRUD Generator if you wish

Noted for future update ideas.

Since this thread is about what we’ve been working on, let me share a bit as well.

I’ve been integrating AI in all areas of my life, both work and personal.

  • It’s become a huge help with support tickets, with just a few simple buttons that do things like: call an API to help read through issues, summarise, point out things that you missed, draft responses, etc.

  • After seeing how effective it is, I’ve created a kind of personal organizer app where I pretty much add everything I can think of in terms of tasks, things to remember, ideas, and then ask AI to create a daily plan to help me achieve goals.

  • It’s incredible, literal intelligence on demand.

I don’t really have time to do any new project but if I had, I think a there are so many things to achieve with simple API calls to AI. For example a “Support Buddy” extension for WooCommerce that automatically calls an API to help answer all customer queries really quickly (I don’t mean auto-responses, those suck! I mean more like an assistant / 2nd brain).

Oh, right, this thread is about our current work, correct.

Lately, I’ve been deep in the trenches working on a ton of features for WPBay. From seller dashboards and API key generation to licensing tools and purchase code validation systems, it’s been a wild but exciting ride. The WPBay SDK is shaping up to be a full-blown ecosystem, with features like direct upgrades, developer contact forms, purchase code checks, and even tools to sell from right inside the WordPress admin.

On top of that, I’ve been actively promoting WPBay, reaching out to developers and inviting creators to join our site. The goal? Give devs full control, transparency, and a real alternative to closed platforms like Envato.

And of course, I haven’t forgotten about Aiomatic. I’m always improving it, whether it’s adding new OmniBlocks, integrations like Ultimate Membership Pro, and much more. It’s all about building something with the community, not just for it. Check my Aiomatic update ideas list here.

That’s the current vibe: building, improving, and spreading the word. Let’s go! :collision:

I am working on a 3D flipbook one of a kind, I will upload it this year on wpbay!!

This seems like a solid product with high potential.

Wishing you smooth coding and zero bugs! May the functions be with you, your commits atomic, your wp_enqueue_script() never breaks during development and your PHP never throw a fatal error.

Oh yeah, the force is with us!

Nice idea! Maybe you could also do a dedicated plugin “WooCoommerce 3D Product Catalog” where the shop owner selects products and it auto-generates the catalog with them.

Noted.

It will work in WooCommerce but not like you suggested, maybe in a future version.
