WPBay's MCP Server v1 is live

Hey guys,

I just launched the WPBay MCP Server.

This means Claude, Cursor and other MCP-compatible AI tools can now search WPBay, read product details and compare products directly.

For me, this is a pretty important step: I don’t want WPBay products to be discoverable only through Google or by browsing the marketplace. I also want AI agents to be able to find and recommend the right products when people ask them for solutions.

The server is public, read-only and doesn’t require an API key.

Endpoint:

https://mcp.wpbay.com/mcp

If you play with MCP, give it a try. I’m really curious what you think and what else you’d like me to expose through it.

Next step: getting the WPBay MCP Server into the places where AI tools actually discover MCP servers.

I’ll start with the official MCP Registry, then work through the major directories and platforms like Claude Connectors, ChatGPT, Smithery, Glama, PulseMCP and mcp.so.

The goal is simple: I don’t want people to have to know WPBay exists first.

Ideally, someone should be able to ask an AI agent:

“Find me a WooCommerce plugin that does X”

…and WPBay should be one of the sources the agent can use automatically.

The MCP server itself was step one. Distribution and discoverability are step two.
