Another big update just landed on WPBay
Following the launch of Email Campaigns, we wanted to take this one step further.
Manual campaigns are great when you want to announce something, but sometimes the best communication happens automatically at exactly the right moment.
So… WPBay now supports Email Automations for sellers.
You can find the new feature directly in your seller dashboard under the Automations menu.
This allows you to create automated emails that are sent when specific customer actions happen.
Examples:

New purchase completed
-
Subscription cancelled
-
Subscription expired
-
Subscription payment failed
-
Subscription put on hold

Refund requested
-
Refund processed
-
Support ticket created
-
Product review received
-
License registered
This means you can automatically send, for example: welcome emails after purchase, onboarding instructions, setup tutorials, renewal reminders, failed payment recovery emails, refund follow-ups, support acknowledgements, review thank-you emails, license activation help, upsells, cross-sells, retention offers… whatever makes sense for your products.
The goal is simple: help sellers build better customer relationships without needing external email automation tools.
Just like with campaigns, automations are manually reviewed before activation to keep the platform clean and prevent spam or abuse.
Customers remain in control and can unsubscribe from seller emails at any time.
Personally, I think this one is pretty powerful, because it gives plugin and theme authors something marketplaces usually never offer: actual lifecycle communication with customers.
